Our #VEGGIEBUZZING Dinner Series!
Last month we hosted our very first media dinner at La Serre Bistro, one of my favorite veggie-friendly fine dining restaurants in Dubai, where Chef Izu cooked up a delicious vegetarian feast consisting of dishes that I hand picked from the extensive vegetarian selection on their menu. The event was a huge success and each of the guests really enjoyed the delicious food. Le Clos provided a fantastic selection of red and white wine, both of which were selected to go with the food I ordered.
The white wine we served was a 2013 Bordeaux wine: Sauvingnon Blanc/Semillon, Alto de Cantenac Brown. For the red we served a 2012 Spanish wine: Garnacha, Alto Moncayo, Veraton, Campo de Borja.
Both wines were fantastic and are available for purchase at any of the 5 Le Clos outlets in Terminal 3 at the Dubai International Airport. Fine wines and luxury spirits can always be ordered ahead of time and they will be delivered to you before immigration on your arrival back into Dubai. So for those vegetarians looking for reasonably priced wines to serve with a French Mediterranean meal, this was a great pick!
Our first media dinner was followed by our second one a few weeks later, which we held in the private dining room at Zuma Dubai. Many of the guests at the dinner were pleasantly surprised that they could have such a substantial and satisfying meal consisting only of vegetarian dishes! An evening at Zuma is always fantastic, and this one was no exception!
