Foodies all across town have a lot to get excited about over the next few weeks as it’s almost time for the Dubai Food Festival! Things kick off next weekend with a few events including the first ever Dubai Restaurant Week, when 30 of the city’s best restaurants will be offering special 3-course menus from February 25th to March 5th.

As your trusty online resource for things veggie, we’ve put together the best #veggiebuzzing meals that you can enjoy during Dubai Restaurant Week! Here they are, presented in no particular order. A 3-course vegetarian meal for just AED 189 including dessert? We sure hope you’re hungry!

  1. Atelier M

At this swanky restaurant on the top floors of Pier 7 at Dubai Marina, you can enjoy a beautiful view, some smooth tunes and delicious modern European cuisine. For Dubai Restaurant Week, their vegetarian menu offering includes signature dishes like Pumpkin Ravioli and the fantastic Slow Roasted Eggplant.

  1. Fume

As a haven for comfort food that combined elements of European and Asian cuisine, Fume surprised us before with some unexpectedly delicious veggie dishes. They’re doing it again with a three-course vegetarian meal that includes Burrata with pesto and heirloom tomatoes, Mac n Cheese and Grilled Portobello Mushrooms with Ponzu butter.

  1. Garden

The Peruvian restaurant at the JW Marriott Marquis is one of the latest in a growing Latin food trend in Dubai. You’ll have the perfect opportunity to discover authentic Peruvian flavors during Dubai Restaurant Week with Corn & Cheese Empanadas and a deliciously creamy Quinotto.

  1. Junoon

Stop by the Shangri-La Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road to experience a mouth watering selection of refined Indian dishes such as the fantastic Eggplant Chaat, classic Chana Pindi and richly comforting Junoon Black Lentil. Desserts include a Salted Peanut Kulfi that will leave your taste buds tingling!

  1. Mint Leaf of London

This elegant Indian restaurant with a view in DIFC has just launched a new healthy options menu earlier this month for the health-conscious foodie. For Dubai Restaurant Week, however, we’d recommend indulging on their set menu, which includes Beetroot Pudina Tikki (served with Punjabi Cholley), Dal Makhni and the tangy Paneer Tomato Cut.

  1. Pai Thai

Pai Thai at Madinat Jumeirah creates a refined Thai dining experience with a gorgeous waterside view. They’ve put together a selection of their finest vegetarian dishes for Dubai Restaurant Week, including Som Tam Je (papaya salad with cashew nuts and tamarind dressing) and Vegetable Green Curry with eggplant and tofu.  And boy do we love the mango sticky rice with coconut syrup!

  1. The Rib Room

Don’t be swayed by the name!   The Rib Room at Jumeirah Emirates Towers may be a surprising venue for vegetarian food, however they have some interesting veggie dishes on offer. The vegetarian menu for Dubai Restaurant Week includes Crispy Fried Feta Falafel Soup, followed up by a Superfood Tart Flambee with kale, cauliflower and quinoa.
