I absolutely love mezze, especially when there is a little bit of spice involved.  In fact, the first thing I order at any lebanese restaurant is Muhammara!  I am also a huge fan of Mexican food.  So its a no brainer that I would love a spicy black bean hummus!  Thankfully, I found one at Q3 at the Media One Hotel in Dubai that was pretty good!  But of course, its super easy to make at home as well, so I make this particular one quite often!  I served it to some guests at my father's birthday dinner yesterday and most of them were reaching for seconds (always a good indicator)!

The recipe is super easy and can be adjusted for spice level depending on the quantity of jalapeño.
