Lazy Bear in San Francisco started as an underground pop-up only 3 years ago, and it already has 2 Michelin Stars.
Prepare yourself for a dinner party of a lifetime!
Over 14+ beautiful courses and beverage pairings (optional), you will be pampered with the finest food, wine and service. The communal seating style fosters conversation if you are in the mood, and the open kitchen invites you to observe and immerse yourself in the prep for each course!
The food is complex, creative and delightful. The cocktails are delicious, and the wines are outstanding.
You will be impressed by the level of detail that goes into everything, and I know it has spoiled me forever.
The team goes out of their way to accommodate you; in my case my vegetarian diet was integrated into the dinner experience so seamlessly that guests seated next to me had no idea I was being served tofu instead of fish or taro instead of caviar!
All of this magic does come with a price tag that is rather steep. It is a ticketed experience, so you purchase your meal a month in advance. The food tasting menu is $185 per person, and the beverage pairings are available for an additional $95 or $140 for the Reserve Pairing. There's a 20% service charge that is added.
So plan ahead for a special occasion or just because, and savour the experience!
