How to Make the Perfect Mason Jar Salads
Mason jar salads have been all the rage in recent times, and for good reason, too. They're easy, quick, healthy, and portable!
However, if not made right, mason jar salads can be a soggy, soggy mess. Avoid that tragedy by following the tips we've put together for you!
Tip One: Put your dressing at the bottom of the jar.
If you don't, your salad will be mushy and wet.

Tip Two: Put your sturdiest veggies as the layer on top of the dressing
These are your carrots, bell peppers, your celery... you get the idea. Alternatively, you can put your grains here so that they soak up the flavour of the dressing.
Tip Three: The next layer should be the lighter veggies/grains
The pasta, rice, tomatoes, onions, and other similar foods.
Tip Four: The proteins go after this
Be it your tofu or your beans or your cheese.
Tip Five: Top with the leafy greens
This is where the spinach, kale, or arugula goes. Make sure it's always on top so that it doesn't get squashed by other ingredients.
