The Best Dubai Picnic Spots
As the weather starts to cool down, we all want to be outside more. In my opinion, the best way to spend time outdoors is to have a picnic!
Here, we list some of the best picnic spots in Dubai. So pack some lunch and enjoy these hand picked spots along with all of the activities they have to offer!
- Zabeel Park
This park has a lake for beautiful views, offers boat rides, has sports courts, barbecue areas, and picnic tables. There are also fun displays, activities for kids, as well as outdoor IMAX films depending on the season! And soon enough, Ripe Markets will be back in full swing every Friday! This place lends itself to a day full of fun!
- Satwa Park
With playgrounds, football pitches, basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, a running track, and of course, green lawns to picnic on, what's not to love?
- Creek Park
While the Children City Centre and the Dubai Dolphinarium remain the main attractions of this park, there is still plenty of space available for picnics, as well as a cable car, a miniature train, bike rentals, and an amphitheatre.
- Al Barsha Park
This park is relatively new in comparison to the others, and comes with sports courts, fitness machines, a running track, and plenty of play areas for children. Ripe Night Markets are also held here during the cooler months.

- Al Qudra Lake
With a stunning view of beautiful animals, desert, and lake, what's not to love? This picnic spots combines some of the best sceneries available in this city to make for a wonderful picnic location. Be sure to bring everything you need, though, as there aren't any stores.Image: Kai-86225
- Mushrif Park
The largest public park in the UAE has an equestrian club, a zoo, barbecue areas, and mini replicas of homes from all over the world.
- Kite Beach
This is one of the best places in Dubai for fitness lovers as it features volleyball, football, kayaks, as well as running and cycling tracks. Of course, there are also the namesake kite surfers. - Sunset Beach
This is Dubai's most popular surfing spot, and it offers surfboards, paddle boards, and kayaks to rent. There are also great views of the Burj Al Arab!
- The Desert!
The stunning desert is one of Dubai's most incredible natural features, and it's totally free to pack up a lunch, drive into the desert, and enjoy the brilliant scenery.
