Where to find eggless desserts in Dubai

The holiday season is the perfect time to celebrate family, friends and of course, food! As a major foodie haven, Dubai has no shortage of great desserts, from decadent creations at high-end restaurants to humble (but delicious) cakes at small bakeries. Now we could spend all day listing great desserts and where to find them, but that would be more of a book than a blog post! So instead, we’ll focus on eggless desserts for the stricter vegetarians, or anyone that wants their sweets to be just a little less indulgent.

Here are some of our recent dessert spots and bakeries that provide delicious egg-free indulgence. We’re sure there will be plenty more to add to the list in the future.

1. Il Donaccino

Donuts are the perfect companion for a cup of coffee and are delightful little treats all on their own. Il Donaccino in Jumeirah Lake Towers decided to broaden the appeal of ringed goodies by making eggless versions.

2. Magnolia Bakery

This renowned bakery has been whipping up delectable sweet treats for decades in New York. Now Magnolia’s spreading the love in Dubai as well. To really sweeten the deal, they’ve got eggless cupcakes! They’re only available in chocolate and vanilla, but that’s plenty delicious already.

3. Rice Creamery

The humble rice pudding is a staple in most Asian cuisines, but is generally overlooked when it comes to popular desserts. Rice Creamery intends to change that with a range of flavored puddings that can rival any good old gelato.

4. Sugaholic

Need a cake for that Christmas party or birthday celebration? Sugaholic has you covered with a range of cakes decorated with delicious chocolate fondant. Just call ahead and let them know that you’d like an eggless cake, and they’d be more than happy to make you one!

5. Kulfilicious

Kulfi is the Indian equivalent of ice cream, but much denser. It’s pretty much a staple on the dessert menu of every Indian restaurant, and can be found in the traditional flavors of saffron, pistachio and cardamom. Kulfilicious takes it to another level with over 25 flavors of kulfi, plus kulfi shakes and even kulfi coffee!

6. Brownie Point

Brownie Point is a bakery from the city of Mumbai in India that has now spread its wings in Dubai. They use non-dairy cream to decorate their cakes and provide eggless and sugar-free options for all their desserts, so you can enjoy another slice of cake without any guilt!

7. Sweet Connection

Sweet Connection, also known as the gluten-free kitchen, is committed to providing a healthier bakery experience. Keeping all dietary preferences in mind, they have eggless, nut-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, and of course, gluten-free options on all their desserts and baked goods.
