YouTube isn't just videos of cats falling off tables (although it's definitely that too), it can provide a wealth of information for curious minds and no more so than those looking to dabble in more plant-based eating. There are so many vegan YouTubers out there, sharing their recipes, their thoughts and even their personal lives with their subscribers - but here is our list of the 5 absolutely essential vegan YouTubers everyone should be following.

Freelee The Banana Girl
You can't talk vegan YouTubers without mentioning Freelee the Banana Girl. This Australian YouTuber is famous for posting video attacks on others in the YouTube community for not following vegan lifestyles and is definitely a controversial figure! But whether you love her or hate her, she's always highly entertaining and her heart is in the right place.

Bonnyrebecca

Bonnyrebecca is another Australian YouTuber but she couldn't be anymore different to Freelee in her sweet and approachable style. She makes daily vlogs, 'What I ate today' videos and her vegan boyfriend Tim and vegan best friends Stef and Essena make frequent appearances.

Bite-Sized Vegan
Emily at Bite-Sized Vegan is out to provide just that - bite-sized vegan information and answers to any vegan-related question under the sun!

Hot For Food
Hot for Food is run by John and Lauren, a super cool married couple in Canada. They make some incredibly non-vegan sounding vegan food like omelettes, pizzas and nachos and often engage in competitive foodie challenges like the Vegan Breakfast Challenge below.

Cheap Lazy Vegan
This YouTube is run by Rose, a self-professed cheap, lazy vegan. While channels like Hot For Food (above) may be great entertainment and wishful thinking, it's not always feasible for everyone to be cooking with the ingredients, time and skills those two have access to. Enter: Rose.
